How do I find the product I am looking for?

The process is simple. On the NVbay Homepage on the Search Bar you type the name of the product you are looking for and press enter or click on the magnifying glass at the end of the Search Bar to start the search. You can also browse through the categories from the Main Menu or select all categories and choose the one you are interested in.


How do I order the products I want?

You can order the product you want even as a visitor to NVbay if you do not want to register for an account at the moment. First, you select the category and then the subcategory which the product belongs to. Click on a product you like and on the product page you can specify the quantity you wish to buy. Then you either go to the "Buy Now" option or place the product to the "Basket" in order to continue your browsing. If you choose to purchase the product directly, then you will be transferred to the Checkout Page where you fill in the following fields:

  • select the payment method
  • check the acceptance box for the terms of use
  • and press the order confirmation button


What is a shopping cart?

A shopping cart is a virtual space where you collect the products you have chosen to buy. Your shopping cart remains active with the list of products you want to buy so that you can complete your order whenever you want. If you do not complete the transaction quickly, some of the products you have placed in the “Basket” may be purchased by another user and then will no longer be available.


What is a Wishlist?

A Wishlist is available only for the registered members of NVbay. A wishlist stores you favourite products. Products can be added or moved from the wishlist to the shopping cart and vice versa.


How do I make an enquiry about a product?

You can make an enquiry about a product only if you are a registered member of NVbay. You can submit your question to the product page by selecting the Tab: Questions. The question which is submitted is public and it is at the discretion of the Seller to respond to you or not.


What do I need to know about Ratings?

The ability to submit user ratings is only for registered NVbay members. Your rating can be submitted to the product page by selecting Tab: Ratings. The evaluation will be available in public.


Is direct communication between seller and buyer allowed?

Direct communication between seller and buyer is allowed but is public.

How do I become a user?

The process is very simple. In the main menu, there is a tab on the right named "Account". Click on it and fill in the following fields in the New User tab

  • your e-mail
  • your password
  • confirm your e-mail password
  • enter your name and phone
  • choose whether you are an individual or business
  • click the Register button

At the same time you will receive a confirmation email for your registration.


For Businesses

Fill in the following fields

  • name of person responsible:
  • name
  • VAT Number
  • tax office
  • address
  • phone
  • e-mail address


I forgot my password

On the Login page, you see the phrase "Forgotten Password". If you click on this phrase, the system asks you to enter the e-mail address associated with your account. Click submit to have a password reset link e-mailed to you.


How can a seller edit his/her profile?

You must first be logged in to your account. Then click on your User Name and automatically you transfer to your Dashboard. In the third section, which has the title "My Sales" you select the seventh button “Profile". Then your profile page opens, where you can make any changes you want in your profile.


How do I upload my products?

To be able to upload products for sale on NVbay you must first have subscribed to it.

Then, from the NVbay home page, clicking on the 'Sale' option in the top right corner you are redirected to the product fill form. There you have to enter all the required information, which is marked with an asterisk.

You also have the ability to add any other information you want, for example: a manufacturer of the product, which helps buyers find your product faster. Then add the photos of your product and click the 'Submit' button.  Your product is being reviewed by NVbay administrators and if approved is hosted on its website. If your product is not approved by NVbay administrators, they will contact you directly to resolve the problem.


How do I remove / deactivate a product? How do I edit a product?

You must first be logged in to your account. Then, if you place the cursor over your User Name, you will open a small menu with the first option "My Products", which you click on. Then you are transferred to the page «Your Products». There you see your products and at your right side of the four symbols:

  • Magnifying glass: transfers you to the product page
  • pair: disable posting
  • pencil: you can make changes at the product
  • x: delete a product


When and how does the Seller receive the money for buying and selling?

A) IF THE SELLER IS BUSINESS/SHOP:

The money from buying a product is released by NVbay to the vendor/shop immediately after the buyer's payment has been posted to the NVbay account. However, if the Customer has selected “Cash on Delivery” , the Company will proceed in advance to the Seller's account of the amount received, minus the commission rate, with the information received by the Company from its receiving courier company of the product / order by the Consumer and payment of the price. In the case of cash on delivery, the products will be dispatched only through the courier company, that NVbay cooperates with. The cooperation of NVbay with the companies of all kinds is legally enforceable, having been preceded by a co-operation agreement signed by both parties.


B) IF THE SELLER IS PRIVATE:

The buyer has 48 hours from receiving the product to update the NVbay about the status of the product so that the platform administrators can immediately release the vendor's money. This service operates 24/7. If the buyer within this 48-hour period has not updated the NVbay for the status of the purchased product, the NVbay administrators presume that the product is in line with its description and proceed to release the money and transfer it to the seller's account.

In the case of cash on delivery, under the terms stated in the "Payment Methods" section, the price will be credited to the account of the seller - private person whom the latter will have indicated on the platform after the expiration of the 48-hour period provided in the previous paragraph and under condition that there will be no return issue.

If, within 48 hours of receipt of the product, the NVbay administrators are informed that the product is not in the status advertised, the buyer will notify NVbay to return the product to the seller. After the product is returned to the seller, the money is returned to the buyer's account.

If any objection is raised on the part of the vendor regarding the existence of defects or the non-response of the product to the described situation, the buyer will also bear the burden of proving any defects that were not mentioned in the description or non-response to the original description, such as relies. In this case, NVbay may require the buyer to prove it by sending photos or any other supporting material. If the photos certify the product's non-response to its advertised status, the product is returned to the seller, and then the money is transferred back to the buyer's account, and NVbay has no profitability in this case. Return costs will be borne by the buyer, unless otherwise specified by the private seller.


How does the Auction work?

The seller uploads the product he wishes to put up for auction by setting the date / time when the auction will start and the duration. In addition, it can also set an immediate purchase price if it so desires.

When the auction starts the product is displayed in the Section Bail, accompanied by a countdown counter. By the end of the deadline all users / buyers can bid on the product with the amount they want.

Caution!

Whenever a user makes a bid, the next one should bid more if he wants to get that product.

Winner of the auction is the bidder with the highest bid. The product is shipped to his basket and has 48 hours to buy.

Finally, if someone wants to buy the product directly without waiting for time, he can click the Buy Now button at the direct purchase price.

If auction time expires and the product is not committed by a buyer, the seller has the right to reposition the product in any way he wants to sell

How does Negotiation work?

When a product is in negotiation, the buyer can see its price and make a lower price bid to get it. Then a direct e-mail is sent to the seller with the offer and he or she can accept or reject it. In the event of a rejection, the buyer is notified by e-mail but also by notice to his Dashboard that his offer has been rejected. If the seller accepts the offer, then the product is added to the buyer's basket and he has 48 hours to buy it. During this time, the seller cannot accept another offer because the product is committed by the above buyer.

The methods for payment of the price, delivery of the product (or any return thereof) are governed by the policies listed in the relevant chapters hereof.


How do I reply on questions about products?

A prerequisite is to be a registered member and be logged in. If you do double-click on your User Name, you are transferred to the dashboard. In the third section which has the title "My Sales" you select the ninth button "Questions". Then you are transferred   to the page “Question Management”. There at the right side of the page you see a magnifying glass. Click on it and you can answer the question you have received. The message will also appear in the profile.

How can I pay?

    In NVbay, you have the ability to pay through credit, debit and prepaid Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners, as well as using Masterpass electronic wallet. All card payments are processed through Alpha Bank’s “Alpha e-Commerce Electronic Payment Platform “ and use TLS 1.2 encryption with 128 bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer-SSL). You will be charged after certification and validitation of your provided card detail information. In order to avoid problems, it is advisable for the person who made the order to be present in its delivery. The charge amount, which includes the shipping costs and the value of the ordered products, should be available and will be retained with the confirmation of sending an email. In order to make your purchase through the Site you should follow the instructions you will find on it. In the order form that you will find, you should fill in your credit card number and the expiration date, as well as the 3-digit security number (not the pin). You are solely responsible for the correct completion about the credit card information.

Is there any commission on the sale?

NVbay charges a commission of 10% plus VAT on the off-set price in business-shop products. In new and used private products the commission is 10% plus VAT (currently 24%) in each Transaction, if successful. A transaction was successful when the product was shipped from the seller to the buyer and the second one had informed NVBAY that the product received it in the same condition as the ad.

NVbay is entitled, at its option, to change its Purchase Policy. All payments are made in Euro, unless otherwise specified in these Terms and Conditions.


Payment has not appeared in my bank account. What should I do;

You should inform NVbay.


Is it possible for a vendor to choose his own courier company?

The seller has the option of choosing which courier he wants, while setting the prices, shipping costs, company and delivery time.


When will the seller deliver the product to the buyer?

Immediately after payment the seller is obliged to send the product. Depending on the shipping company that has chosen to make the shipment, time is also different. In any case, before the order is confirmed, the purchaser will be informed of the exact time required on a case-by-case basis. The NVbay proposes that the relevant shipping number be entered so that the buyer can control the shipment.


How much is the shipping cost?

The shipping costs depend on the transport company chosen by the seller as well as the weight of the product as well as the shipping address. In any case, before the order is confirmed, the buyer will be informed of the exact amount of the shipping charges


Who is charged with refunds?

Repayment costs in the case of transactions between individuals are borne by the purchaser, unless otherwise specified by the private seller in his posting.

In dealings with a Store, the issue of refund costs is governed by the policy of each Branch.


What if the product is not returned to its original status?

If the product is not in its prior status of delivery, NVbay is obliged to hold the money until the case is fully elucidated. NVbay is obliged to deposit the money only in the case of the court or extrajudicial agreement of the two parties.


What if the buyer wants a change in the product eg size

When it comes from a business and is available for the product in question then there is the possibility of communication between the two parties to change the product, again defining the shipping costs.


What should I do if the product does not fulfill the specifications of the description?

Can the buyer return a product?

 The return of products is determined by the policy that the Store has developed and applies. In any case, it is noted that the consumer is entitled to an unjustified withdrawal within 14 days. In the case of a transaction between private individuals, then he will be returned under the conditions and conditions set out in the PRODUCT RETURN section above and the posting of the individual vendor.


Can the buyer cancel an order?

If the seller has not sent the product sold, then only the buyer can cancel the order by pressing the Cancel Order button from his Orders history.


If the buyer changes his mind about buying?

There is a possibility of an unjustified withdrawal within 14 days for products sold by stores and according to the policy of the Branch. Corresponding possibility is not foreseen for transactions between individuals.


Exceptions

The right of return does not apply to products that are not suitable for hygienic reasons and which have been unsealed at delivery. These products are for example: underwear, swimwear, cosmetics, pantyhose, earrings, perfumes, facials and other related items to the above. In any case, any such non-refundable product must mention in advance that cannot be returned for hygienic purposes.
